Code of Ethics

PBL Wealth Management, LLC is an organization built on trust. We have crafted our Code of Ethics so our clients and potential clients can understand how we think and what they can expect from us. We invite you to ask questions to clarify any part of this Code to better understand how it relates to your specific wealth management engagement.

01

Integrity

We are who we say we are. Our behavior will be consistent regardless of who is watching or what is at stake.

02

Honesty

We will tell the truth even if it costs us something. This includes not exaggerating, excluding, or downplaying information when it otherwise might benefit us to do so.

03

Respect

We believe all people have inherent value regardless of their beliefs, lifestyle, political views, abilities, financial status, or any other factor. People matter to us and we will communicate respectfully and honorably even if we disagree.

04

Accountability

We acknowledge we will sometimes make mistakes even when we apply our best efforts & care. We will take responsibility when we miss the mark and do what it takes to make it right to the extent that we are able to do so.

05

Humility

We will consider the needs of others first and not think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. We will acknowledge the limits of our expertise and collaborate with other qualified professionals when appropriate.

06

Professionalism

We recognize the advice we give and the work we do has a significant impact on our clients’ lives for better or for worse. We take that responsibility seriously and will bring our best attitude, effort, and expertise to the job every day.

07

Loyalty

We will be true to our word and follow through on agreements made in good faith. In addition, we will not enter into agreements we do not reasonably believe can be upheld in good faith.

08

Fairness

We believe both results and the process used to achieve them matter. We will not seek unfair advantages and we will not show partiality even if it might benefit us to do so in the short term. Success without honor is not success.
